The management team collected this accolade at the recent Tourism Indaba in Durban, South Africa. The Tourism Indaba is the premier travel industry event in South Africa which takes place annually and showcases the top travel and accommodation offerings in Southern Africa.

The first function to take place at The Nest Hotel to make use of this venue will also make use of the world class bowling greens for which the hotel is renowned, and will be the annual SPAR womens bowls finals which take place over a week in September.

During the days of the event the participants shall be out on the bowling greens playing the SPAR womens bowls finals with a press core taking residence in the breakaway rooms of the conference centre as the event will be televised on national television.

The evenings shall include dinners in the Ukhahlamba Hall which is the main venue within the new conference centre, entertainment has been arranged by the event organisers and shall include dinner dances and prize giving ceremonies whilst on the relaxed nights The Nest Hotel shall provide entertainment in the form of Bingo and other recreational activities.
