Bowls Coaching Clinics

Bowls Coaching Clinics are held at The Nest Hotel throughout the year and cater for both beginners and experienced bowlers looking to improve their game. Top coaches are in attendance and as a result of having hosted numerous bowls coaching clinics every year for 16 years our coaching clinics are sure to improve participant’s game of bowls.

Guests usually arrive on Sundays for a week of coaching, teaching, practicing, learning the etiquette, rules and insider information, to improve their skills and achievements and sometimes just their enjoyment of the sport / game.

We always have the country’s top Bowls Coaches in attendance.

The week starts with an introduction on Sunday evening and continues with on the Green tuition, coaching, games under supervision, revisions, sometimes video taping with playback and discussion, all to improve, lift the enjoyment and competitiveness.

The groups usually range from 20 to 60 Bowlers, and it is always great fun. These clinics sometimes lead to new friendships with like minded bowlers from all over South Africa and our neighboring countries and on occasion even further abroad.

Depending on the proficiency of each Bowler, the Coaches adjust their tuition and lessons according to the need and level of bowling of the individual.

Thursday evenings there is usually a fun Dinner /Dance celebration before departure on Friday after Breakfast or lunch.

There is also a well stocked Bowlers Pro Shop where Bowlers find it convenient to acquire the latest goods, attire, bowls, etc. All at excellent prices.
